What is Invisalign?

Orthodontics focuses on tooth position and how the teeth meet. In our practice, adult orthodontics is provided exclusively with Invisalign clear aligners. We do not place traditional fixed braces.

Invisalign uses a series of transparent, removable aligners. Each aligner moves the teeth a little according to a digitally planned treatment path.

When can Invisalign be considered?

Invisalign may be considered for crowding, gaps or teeth that have shifted over time. It is not suitable for every situation; suitability is assessed individually during an orthodontic intake.

How does treatment proceed?

Retention after treatment

Retention is important after orthodontic treatment. This can involve a fixed retention wire or a removable retainer. Without retention, teeth can move again.

Points to consider

The result depends strongly on consistent aligner wear. Duration and progress vary by situation. Complex cases are not always suitable for aligners; we discuss which steps are appropriate.
